HPLC 2005 Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception – June 26, 2005, 17.00
An important part of the Symposium week. It will set the tone for the whole Symposium. The first opportunity for delegates to meet and mingle with old and new friends.

Reception at the Stockholm City Hall - June 27 at 18:30-20:30
The City of Stockholm invites you to a reception and buffet dinner in the Stockholm City Hall. The City Hall, beautifully situated on the Riddarfjärden waterfront in the central Stockholm, is world famous as the setting for the annual Nobel Banquet

Optional Social Event HPLC - Symposium Dinner – June 29, 2005, 19:30
Join us at the HPLC Symposium Dinner – the evening is full of entertainment not to be missed. Here´s an excellent opportunity to discover the beauty of Sweden! Partake a wonderful summer dinner party at Mälarsalen in Münchenbryggeriet with an extraordinary view over lake Riddarfjärden and the Stockholm City Hall. The night will of course include food and drinks as well as entertainment with a high class ABBA-show by the most professional look-alike cover band ”Waterloo”. The dinner will start at 19.30. Price SEK 700 including VAT.

Optional Tour City Tour – June 26th
The bus will departure from Stockholm International Fairs main entrance at 13.00 Tour length: 1,5 hours Price per person: SEK 245 Minimum no. of participants: 25 You will discover that Stockholm is built on islands connected by numerous bridges, all of which have their own specific characteristics. The tour will take you to the most interesting parts of the city including the City Center, The Old Town (Gamla Stan), where Stockholm in 2002 celebrated its 750 year jubilee, a stop will be made on Fjällgatan overlooking the Baltic and situated on the largest of the 14 islands. We will pass by the City Hall of Stockholm, known for its beautiful banquet halls. The Nobel Festivities are held here yearly. On the bus tour you will not only learn about Stockholm’s history and culture but you will also get information about shopping, restaurants and current events etc. Cancellation policy for DAY tours Cancellations can be made up to 1 (one) week prior to the tour. Cancellations made within this limit qualify for a full refund. Later cancellations will not be refunded. Stockholm Convention Bureau, StoCon, reserves the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such cases fees will be fully refunded.
