The Organising Committee cordially invites you to participate
in the 29 th International Symposium on High Performance
Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2005)
to be held June 26-30, 2005, in Stockholm, Sweden.
The HPLC symposium series started already in 1973 and is
an annual event alternating between North America and Europe with satellite
symposia in Asia (Japan). The series has developed to become the premier
meeting for liquid phase separation techniques. The Stockholm symposium
will reflect that separation science is a dynamic discipline under continuous
development with a broad scope that comprises advancements in all types
of liquid phase separations from preparative to microfluidic techniques.
Special emphasis will be
put on pharmaceutical and life sciences (including
all the “omics”) as well as other application areas characterized by rapid development
and relevance at the time for the symposium. The symposium will be an important
platform for exchange of information, experiences and innovations between
academia and industry on essential separation, analytical and bioanalytical
issues. Leading scientists in all relevant areas will give plenary
and keynote lectures as well as tutorials. Massive new information will be available
through regular lectures and poster sessions. An exhibition will display
the latest instrumental innovations in separation science complemented by vendor
seminars. A number of pre-symposium short courses on subjects of current
interest will be organised.
Great opportunities to meet colleagues in informal discussions
will be facilitated by an attractive social programme, including
a reception at the Stockholm
City Hall (the site for Nobel Prize Winner´s
dinner celebration on December
10 every year), taking advantage of the features of Stockholm – a beauty on water.
